HAPPY Youth Project

Description

The HAPPY Youth Project is one of JVS’s most impactful initiatives, designed to guide children and adolescents toward healthier and safer lifestyles.
The program focuses on improving mental, physical, emotional, and social well-being of school students through structured awareness workshops and interactive sessions.

HAPPY addresses critical youth issues such as:

  • Menstrual health & hygiene

  • Mental health & stress management

  • Sexual & reproductive health education

  • Substance abuse prevention

  • Safety and self-protection

  • Healthy relationships & communication

  • Personal hygiene & lifestyle awareness

Sessions are conducted by trained professionals across municipal and private schools, using child-friendly tools like charts, videos, group discussions, demonstrations and Q&A formats.
The project empowers students to make informed decisions and build confidence while breaking social stigma and misinformation.
